News, events, conservation action alerts and volunteer opportunities from the Audubon Society of Greater Denver.

The denveraudubon listserv was created to quickly and efficiently disseminate news from the Audubon Society of Greater Denver (ASGD). Posts will include information on the organization's events, conservation action alerts and volunteer opportunities. ASGD members and volunteers are encouraged to subscribe.

This listserv is an "announcement-only" listserv and not intended to serve as a discussion forum. Messages to the list will be held for approval before being posted to insure that they contain information directly pertaining to ASGD, its members and volunteers.

Douglas County Birdwatchers Listserv

douglbirds@denveraudubon.org

Douglbirds offers a forum for people interested in birds and other wildlife of Douglas County to share their observations about birds and wildlife in their backyards and the natural places in the county. It welcomes email messages about birds seen in Douglas County – mainly the area from Sedalia and Castle Rock to Franktown and Parker. Observations, questions and discussion of other wildlife and plants, natural history topics, identification and animal behavior are also welcome.

Our geography includes your backyard, trips to Castlewood Canyon, Winkler Ranch, Walker Pit, Cherry Creek and Plum Creek greenways, Cherokee Ranch, Roxborough, and points in between (but let’s skip Chatfield – that’s more a Cobirds thing). We may expand to northern Elbert County – that’s sort of a suburb of Franktown. And maybe even Highlands Ranch.
