[Bluebird-babble] Ash-throated Flycatcher question

Hi

Can someone describe the eggs of Ash-throated Flycatcher for me. The pair that built in my new box laid two eggs and then stopped and became scarce. The eggs in the nest could belong to cowbirds!

My young Mtn Bluebirds fledged 4 young day before yesterday and left one infertile egg in the nest. I removed the old nest yesterday and the female appears to be starting a new nest in the same box today.

My Violet-green Swallows have finally begun laying: there are three eggs in the nest today.

Thanks

Pat Gould
