Sue we have geography problem my trail is 15miles southwest of Grand
Junction. If you are over this way give me a call. Our ATFL have just
started to lay eggs. I really don't get to monitor the trail very much as my
volunteers fight over who is going to check the boxes.

Hi; I am really impressed with ash throated flycatchers! I have seem one
only once and in another state. Perhaps I could come and view them
sometime. Kevin Corwin, Fred and I monitor 44 bluebird boxes near Larkspur.
The babies are out and we have some new nest with eggs even tho the boxes
were empty for the last 7 inspections. It's fun to see the development.
The tree swallows just began nesting. Sue

Hi

I just got a scope on the bird sitting on top of the nest box with a bill
full of plant material. It is an Ash-throated Flycatcher. I know they are
cavity nesters but how often do they use bluebird boxes/or perhaps get a
chance to use a nest box.
