Hi

When the first brood fledges should the nest box be cleaned out within a few days so the adults can start a second nest or will they/should they reuse the first nest?

Kevin: you were interested in the titmice - the five young are now 18 days old and fat and healthy. They should be fledging within a few days.

The Ash-throated Flycatcher pair and Violet-green Swallow pair using my nest boxes appear to have suspended building and I have not seen them for a couple of days. Perhaps they are doing what my MOBL's did - waiting for proper weather/food to appear before laying eggs.
