Hello All,

Well, it seems the nesting season is winding down. Hope everyone out
there had lots of successful nest attempts. Again this year the Colorado Bluebird
Project will provide data entry support for folks who want to get their
nesting results posted into the nationwide Cornell database. You can mail your
end-of-season reports directly to our data entry manager at the following address:

Jill Freeman
4710 S. Xanthia St.
Denver, CO 80237

It's vitally important that you submit your data to Jill as soon as
possible. Cornell usually shuts off data entry in September, which doesn't give us
much time to get the records posted. And since Cornell revamped their
computer system and data entry formats this year, we may encounter problems and
delays along the way. Please include your own contact info (both phone and email,
if possible) so we can get back to you if we have questions about your data.

If you're submitting data for the first time or if your nestbox
locations/numbers have changed please be sure to send in the information about the boxes,
the details of which are shown on the downloadable field form at the Cornell
website. Log onto _www.birds.cornell.edu/birdhouse_
(http://www.birds.cornell.edu/birdhouse) , then click on the DATA GATEWAY button, there'll be a note
about the downloadable form on the screen that comes up. Don't worry if you
don't have the longitude/latitude data, in years past they've accepted records
with just the Zip Code to locate the boxes.

Thanks!
Kevin Corwin
