   Help us spread the word! Please forward this email to anyone you  
think might be interested in the Audubon Master Birder Program. If you  
are coming to the open house or testing date, the driving directions  
for getting to our office in the evenings is at the bottom of this  
message.

Information for the 2008 Audubon Master Birder Program is now online

This program is an incredible opportunity for people who love birds,  
want to expand their knowledge and birding skills AND want to share  
their passion for birds with others.

We encourage anyone who is interested to attend the Open House on  
Monday, January 14 at 7pm. You will have a chance to hear from the  
Master Birder Committee & from past participants. There will also be  
time for questions and refreshments will be served.

Applications are due on Tuesday, January 29 and the entrance test is  
this same day at 7pm at the ASGD office. Please RSVP to Susan  
(ssmith at denveraudubon.org) so that we know how many applicants to  
prepare for. We are scheduling interviews for:
Monday, February 4 from 6:30pm ? 9pm
Tuesday, February 5 from 9am ? 3pm
Thursday, February 7 from 6:30pm ? 9pm

   _DIRECTIONS TO THE ASGD OFFICE ON WEEKDAYS AFTER 4PM & WEEKENDS:_
The office is located at the northwest end of Chatfield State Park in  
Littleton, Colorado.

   * From I25 & C470, go west on C470 about 12 miles.
   * Exit onto Wadsworth and go south.
   * At the second intersection, turn left / east into the main  
entrance for Chatfield State Park.
   * At the gate, tell the attendant that you are going to the Audubon  
office. Proceed past the gate to the stop sign (you will be facing the  
reservoir).
   * Turn left and drive about one mile.
   * Just after Massey Draw Picnic Area (on your right), turn left  
onto the service road and drive through the orange gates.
   * At the next intersection, turn right.
   * ASGD offices are in the basement of the second brick house on the right.
