Especially if you live in Douglas County, you should give Terry Williams
a call about poisoning prairie dogs. There are supposed to be
between 5,000 and 10,000 in this large colony on the Cherokee ranch.

Hi all,
I just got a call that Cherokee Ranch Foundation - A DOUGLAS COUNTY
CONSERVATION EASEMENT - was poisoning a very large prairie dog colony
this
morning.
Apparently the management there has changed hands frequently and no one
has
a natural resources background. Please call the executive director -Terry
Williams at 303.688.5555 and express your feelings about this. This land
was set aside to preserve ALL the natural species, not just elk.
