Moving Furniture - We have a friend in Bergen Park that would like to donate
a bookshelf / cabinet for the Audubon Center. She doesn't have a truck or
the ability to move it herself. Anyone interested in helping out?
 
Bird & Wildlife Photos Wanted
We are currently trying to build our library of bird, wildlife and nature
images for use in our educational programs and handouts. If you are
interested in donating slides or digital files, please let me know. We have
a small collection right now. (We are always happy to acknowledge the
photographer whenever the image is used, however, we prefer to accept photos
that are given without copyright restrictions.) Priority items would be: 
*       photos of Denver-area backyard birds, both on feeders and in natural
settings
*       Denver and Colorado birds
*       Colorado wildlife, especially urban species
 
Raffle Ticket Table
Saturday, November 12 at King Soopers (Chatfield & Wadsworth)
We need volunteers to help sell raffle tickets from 9am - 4pm. Let me know
which hours you would like to work.
*You can also pick up raffle tickets at the ASGD office to sell to friends,
coworkers & neighbors! Drawing is December 3.
 
Office Habitat Restoration - Otherwise known as moving Susan's books, files,
etc. downstairs to make room for our incoming executive director!
Afternoons on Nov. 15 or 16 or anytime on Nov. 17. 
 
Holiday Open House
Sunday, December 3 at the Audubon Center (there is heat in the farmhouse!)
We need volunteers for:
*      To bring cookies & other treats.
*      Set-up at 11:30pm
*      Greeters / Audubon Ambassadors to talk with visitors from noon - 2pm.
*      Gift shop from noon - 2pm.
*      Children's craft table (making edible ornaments for the birds) from
noon - 2pm.
*      Clean-up at 2pm.

Legislative Workshop
Saturday, February 3 at First Plymouth Church
We need volunteers to help with:
*      Set-up at 7:45am
*      Registration; ~ 8am - 9am
*      Kitchen help for lunch
*      Clean-up at 1:30pm
 
Birdseed Delivery
Friday, February 9; approximately noon - 4pm
We need volunteers that are willing to lift and move 50# bags of birdseed!
Will unload pallets and sort orders.
 
Birdseed Pick-up Day
Saturday, February 10 from 8am - 4pm
We need volunteers that are willing to lift and move 50# bags of birdseed!
Help load orders into cars.
 
Tagawa's Garden Center - Bird Festival
Saturday, February 10 from 10am -4pm
Sunday, February 11 from 11am - 3pm
We need volunteers to staff an information booth and a children's craft
table.
