DO NOT FORGET TO BRING A SACK LUNCH and WATER!!!  
   
  Binoculars would also be very helpful.
   
  OTHER EQUIPMENT WHICH IS HELPFUL (but not essential):
    
   Cell phone or walkie/talkies.  
   Colorado Gazeteer or other map of the Pawnee National Grasslands  
   Pen or pencil.  
   Compass.  
   Sibley or other bird guide of your choice.  
   Tool kit (whatever you have in a tool box, such as pliers, hammer, screw drivers, etc
.)
   
  Work Day:  September 16, 2006:
    
   Early Morning Birding, Starting at Crow Valley Campground    
      8 AM:  1 Hours of Group Birding Prior to Work Day  
      Show up earlier if you so choose.
  
   9 AM Start Conservation Work at Crow Valley Campground Picnic Shelter    
      Work Training on Conservation Surveys and  Inventories 
  
   10 AM:  Start Conservation Work:  Numerous Choices    
      Conservation Area Survey:  Wildlife Exclosure Area:      
         Capital Improvements (fence repair, trees, wildlife etc..
  
      Conservation Area Survey:  Stock Tanks:      
         Inventory and Install Wildlife Escape Ramps
  
      Conservation Area Survey:  Tree Protection Barriers      
         Inventory condition of tree cribs (used to protect trees from cattle rubbing)
  
      Clean Up at Closed Target Shooting Area Sites
