   Saturday, February 2 from noon - 4pm
Prairie Dog Day at the Denver Zoo - Celebrate Groundhog?s Day with  
Denver Zoo and Punxsutawney Phil?s distant cousin the prairie dog for  
a local twist on the holiday. Join in the celebration by discovering  
how prairie wildlife rely on prairie dogs for survival, how and why we  
should protect these intriguing creatures and even get nose to whisker  
with Denver Zoo?s resident prairie dogs and other prairie wildlife.

   Saturday, February 23 from 10am - 3pm
Sunday, February 24 from 11am - 3pmTagawa Gardens - Bird & Nature Festival

   Friday, February 22; afternoon - Birdseed Delivery (unloading & sorting)
Saturday, February 23 from 9am - 4pm - Birdseed Pick-up Day
> Volunteers needed for our winter birdseed sale. Involves lifting 50  
> pound bags!

   Friday, March 7 from 3pm - 5:30pm
Saturday, March 8 from 10am - 5:30pm
Sunday, March 9 from noon - 4pm
Echter's Garden Center - Spring Gardening Expo
> VOLUNTEERS NEEDED TO STAFF A DENVER AUDUBON BOOTH.

   BUILD BLUEBIRD NEST BOXES WITH THE COLORADO BLUEBIRD PROJECT
Kevin Corwin (bluebirdproject at denveraudubon.org[1]) needs more  
volunteers to help cutting wood and assembling boxes at the Audubon  
Center. If you are interested, contact Kevin and let him know when you  
are available.
