   Join us for a wonderful afternoon at the Audubon Center at Chatfield.

   MEET THE AUTHORS OF "GAS TREES & CAR TURDS - A KIDS' GUIDE  
TO THE ROOTS OF GLOBAL WARMING" BY KIRK JOHNSON & MARY ANN  
BONNELL

   SATURDAY, MARCH 15 AT 1PM

   Kirk Johnson & Mary Ann Bonnell will sign books and read excerpts  
from their new books. It will be a great event for your kids,  
grandkids and neighbors. Mary Ann in an Audubon Master Birder and Lead  
Naturalist for the City of Aurora. Kirk Johnson is Vice President of  
Research and Collections and Chief Curator with the Denver Museum of  
Nature and Science. We will have copies of "Gas Trees & Car Turds" for  
sale, along with copies of Kirk's book "Cruisin' the Fossil Freeway"  
(co-written with Ray Troll) and the accompanying Fossil Freeway Map.

   Event is free and open to the public. Bring a friend! Profits from  
book sales benefit the grassroots projects of Audubon Society of  
Greater Denver.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS TO THE AUDUBON CENTER:

   The Audubon Center is located on the southwest side of Denver in  
Littleton, Colorado.

   * From I25 & C470, go west on C470 about 12 miles.
   * Exit onto Wadsworth. Go south on Wadsworth about 4.4 miles, PAST  
the main entrance for Chatfield State Park.
   * Turn left / east on Waterton Road.
   * Immediately turn left into the first parking lot at the Audubon  
Center sign.
   * We will meet in the farmhouse.
