Global Warming 
Advocacy Training & Lobby Day
Please join us in Washington, DC, May 4-7, 2008
Application Deadline is April 4th
WHO: People alarmed by global warming and its impacts on birds, wildlife, and humanity. People passionate about learning how to be involved in advancing policy solutions to this global problem. People who want to act now to address these challenges. People like YOU!
WHAT: A workshop focused on grassroots, media, and lobby training that will equip you with the skills you need to be an effective advocate for solutions to global warming. You will learn how to communicate effectively with your elected officials, and on the third day of the training you will have the opportunity to meet with your Representative and Senators or their staff on Capitol Hill. Following the training, you will return home equipped with the skills and inspiration to continue working for solutions to global warming.
WHEN, WHERE: Sunday, May 4th to Wednesday, May 7th in Washington, DC 
HOW: Fill out the online application by Friday, April 4th
We will fly you to Washington, provide you with hotel accommodations, and cover most meals. Registration is $150. You do not have to pay to apply.
