Hi, Folks: As we were returning home from Castle Rock on Highway 86 at exactly 12 noon today, Buzz and I both spotted a Belted Kingfisher sitting on the electric (telephone?) wire where the highway crosses Cherry Creek just west of Franktown. First time we've seen one here so late in the season. What a thrill! Shirley Bowers
