Like at Buzz and Shirley's, Pygmy Nuthatches are back at our feeders. The
closer we get to the Winter Solstice, the more I see them each fall.
For finches, occasional Pine Siskins join the few American Goldfinches, and
an unusually large flock of House Finches.
One House Finch is a leucistic.
Lots of juncos, especially Slate-colored; only one or two Spotted Towhees.
And a little burst of Golden-crowned Kinglets has come in! They're the
tiniest birds here now; that baker's dozen of Wild Turkeys still being the largest.
