This past Wednesday I was surprised to see baby Kestrel's in what was
supposed to be a Wood Duck House.  This particular house is mounted to a 8'
long pressure treated 4x4.  The pole is in the ground 3' and I was in the
process of replacing the pole as it is warped very badly.  I thought I
better check the house to ensure there were no wasp nests inside before I
started taking it down.  No wasp nests, but I was really surprised to see a
number of baby Kestrel's.  Hopefully this week I will get a good picture of
them in the box.  If I do get a good shot I will let you know where on my
website you can view them.

In another Wood Duck House about a 1/2 mile away was a clutch of Kestrel
eggs.  I will keep an eye on them also when time permits.
