Today I went to the pond at Twenty Mile Rd & Mainstreet as well as the other wastewater pond on Parker Rd.
There was a small group of Barrow's Goldeneye ( I could identify 4, 3-M 1-F) and many Common Goldeneye (I got to 20 before I stopped), about 30 Bufflehead, a few Hooded Mergansers, Greater & Lesser Scaups, at least 2 Ring-Necked Ducks as well as some Eared & Horned Grebe's.
There were also 2 large groups of Northern Shovelers (at least 75 total) working their way around the eastern edge of the pond.
About a half dozen Killdeer came flying out from the edge as I walked up to the west side.
Plus maybe 500 or so Canadian Geese.
If you go to the Twenty Mile pond, check out the large flooded area to the west of the main pond. Many of the ducks were there. You can see it if you walk around the pond behind the pumping house.
