[Douglbirds] My 1st Blue Jay

I have had my feeder out for over 5 years here, and I got my first Blue Jay at the feeder the other night.  Not too surprising considering that you occasionally see one at nearby Roxborough State Park or Chatfield State Park, but I was also wondering if it was a sign of the changing state of the area.  Blue Jays tend to be more common in the neighborhoods in the more developed areas.  When we first moved in there was only a Loaf-n-Jug in the Roxborough area.  Next came the Farm Crest Dairy then the Safeway with surrounding shops and just recently a Sonic opened.  All the while more houses keep going up.  I've still been getting regular visits from Scrub Jays, but I wonder if there will be a shift to increasing Blue Jays and decreasing Scrub Jays here.
