[Douglbirds] McClain Pit

I was at the McClain Pit 4-4:30 today and I saw what I think is a 
non-breeding adult Black Tern.  Dark gray wings and back, small black 
bill, black in eye extending to back of head, white neck and breast, 
small white patch at forward edge of wing when resting.  It hit the 
water at times but did  not dive into it. It was resting at times on 
a sandbar. It was much darker than the  Forster's Tern reported 
earlier this month.
