After seeing the other races of Dark-eyed Junco all winter, we had a 
White-winged at our feeders on January 31 and February 1.  We usually 
have more of them during the winter.  The male American Goldfinches are 
slowly but surely gaining more of their golden feathers and that is fun 
to watch.  Our usual feeder birds continue to visit daily, with greater 
numbers each time the weather turns cold and/or snowy.  Buzz and
