This note came from Joe Todor, who borders north and west of the Metzler addition to Castlewood Canyon State park. I think that these critters have a huge range that they cover in a week, or a day, or such. His note came on Jan. 25 2007.

Just a quick note to you. I have seen the prints of a mountain lion in the snow around the house and the garage. It is a big male, maybe 135lbs the stride is almost 4 feet the prints measure 3 1/2" by 3". I woud keep any pets close by and not let them wander around too much.
