[Douglbirds] June Birds...

Wow, that must be very cool. We have some of those birds but not nearly
that variety or quantity.

I am curious how other people deal with bears. We had a bear raid our
feeders on Friday and have a big party time. It was a young enough bear to
have a mom nearby so that's kind of scary. I'm now taking everything in at
night, and I only put suet out when we're home. We live in a Castle Rock
subdivision, I didn't expect bears, although we do back up to the Scott
ranch.

We also have a lot of magpies lately, I enjoy watching them, but I know they
scare off the little birds. Does anyone have suggestions on that? I don't
want to scare them off, but I wouldn't mind making our yard less attractive
to them.
