[Douglbirds] Common Poorwill

At approximately 9:30pm this evening, I heard the distinctive call of a COMMON POORWILL from my deck.  I've never heard/seen one before at my house, and was quite surprised.  Has anyone else seen this species around the Castle Rock area at this time of year?
