[Douglbirds] International Migratory Bird Day at Castlewood Canyon SP

We led our annual International Migratory Bird Day walk at Castlewood Canyon
State Park this morning from the woodland at the West Side trail head south
along the creek, almost to the dam ruins. Highlights included Great Blue Herons
building nests, a Red-tailed Hawk carrying a snake to the nest, a Cooper's
Hawk flying along the cliff occupied by two Prairie Falcons, competing Red-eyed
Vireos, and a singing Ovenbird.
We found these 40 species:
