This morning we went out with the dogs for a walk, and stopped at the end of
our driveway observing a sprinkler head that was spraying the edge of the
driveway just a bit. My husband takes great pride in not wasting any water,
and started to say "I need to adjust that sprinkler", when a tiny bird, I
think it was a bushtit (I'm not a very good bird identifier), landed in the
wet area. It enjoyed a nice shower and drink, while we and the dogs stood
watching not two feet away. Needless to day, we decided not to adjust the
sprinkler head. Now we want to find a place to put up a mister!
