[Douglbirds] Shorebirds

Glenn mentioned today's Franklin's gulls at the McClain pit and speculated about shorebirds.

I should add that on Saturday, I saw there 4 birders from Colorado Springs on a northern tour, and we saw there one American AVocet and one Greater Yellowlegs. McClain has a shoreline that Walker Pit lacks, so it's a more likely place for shorebirds.

McClain is 1/4 miles south of Colo. 86 on Castlewood Canyon Road (1/2 a mile west of the Franktown traffic light).
