Hi! I have had 4 chukars running around my house in Larkspur this Spring –
Hugh Kingery informed me via this website that there have been releases from
hunting sites lately; so check your books and see if that is what you have,
too. Kay Chambers, Larkspur

Subject: [Douglbirds] Hard to identify yard bird / Parker

Hello!

I recently had an odd bird in my driveway and only had a second to take a
picture before it flew away. The blinds were down so the picture came out a
bit fuzzy. Before I knew this site existed, I sent the picture to Cornell
Lab of Ornithology in New York, and they thought it may be an escaped game
bird.

I don't have a website or page to post the picture. Can anyone recommend how
to find out? Also, I'll be happy to forward a picture if anyone wants to
send their email.

Thanks!

Elena
