2025 March Volunteer Enrichment: RESCEDULED

Do you need a refresher or want to discover how to appropriately address a visitor who has their dog off leash or has thrown a piece of trash on the trail? Authority of the resource is a great way to inform them to think about the consequences of their behavior.

Sign up for this enrichment and learn more about Leave No Trace (LNT) skills and ethics or refresh what you have already learned! This awareness level course will be taught by Roxborough State Park Volunteer Naturalists who are certified to conduct LNT courses. We will use a mix of activities to learn about the Seven Principles of LNT to help you be able to educate our visitors more effectively about recreating responsibly in the outdoors.

Each participant will receive LNT informational materials, LNT tools, and a certificate of completion. Some of our sessions may include time outdoors so dress appropriately and bring water and a snack/lunch.
