The Denver Audubon Community Naturalist Training is a one-of-a-kind adult training program highlighting the plants, animals, and ecosystems of the Colorado Front Range. Classes for the 2024 fall session will be held at the Kingery Nature Center at Chatfield and offsite field trip locations. Topics of study include botany, ecology, mammals, birds, raptors, wildlife rehabilitation, community science, reptiles, amphibians, insects, and geology.
Classes will take place on Saturdays, September 14 to December 14 from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm each day. 100% attendance is recommended and encouraged – makeup classes are NOT possible though handouts and presentation slides are shared in case of absence. Final presentation and attendance at Saturday December 14 class REQUIRED to graduate and receive certification.
