Event Details
Join us for a peaceful summer walk through the different habitats of the Fountain Valley Trail and Roxborough’s stunning red rocks. We will look and listen for the many Roxborough breeding migrants, as well as year-round residents. We could see swifts, swallows, flycatchers, bluebirds, jays, wrens, vireos, warblers, and hummingbirds, plus sparrows, goldfinches, and raptors. This year’s fledglings should also be present. This trip is for all levels of birders, and beginners are especially welcome. We will start early to avoid the heat and cover 2.4 miles with a small change in elevation. |
Meet at the Visitor's Center. An entry fee or pass to the park is required.
