Habitats: River, stream banks, and ponds.
This two-hour walk along the South Platte River at Hudson Gardens will explore the riparian ecosystem. We're likely to see dabbling ducks and raptors, as well as avid cyclists. We'll walk for about a mile on either paved or fine gravel surfaces, on mostly flat ground. It is flat with either paved walk or crusher fine path. Likely to see dabbling ducks, the stray raptor and avid cyclists.
Meeting location: Nixon's Coffee House, Littleton. Maplewood exit off of Santa Fe where there is free parking. Immediately north of Hudson Gardens Exit and immediately south of Jazz Car Wash
