The Great Backyard Bird Count (GBBC) takes place February 14 through February 20, 2025. Count birds anywhere—you don't even need a backyard to participate! Anyone with an Internet connection, anywhere in the world, can take part, even with a mobile device. All ages and skill levels are welcome—if you can identify a single species of bird, we want to hear from you. During this training, learn about GBBC and how to identify basic birds, participate in the count, and submit your observations to science!
