Event Details

We invite you to join us from the comfort of your home to celebrate 25 years of the Lois Webster Fund and learn about the two research projects we funded last year:

Black Swift Movement Ecology
Rob Sparks with the Bird Conservancy of the Rockies will describe what’s been learned about where these elusive flyers go, what they eat and how.

Native Plains Fish After an Invasion of Mosquitofish in the Arikaree River
Yoichiro Kanno and Cole Campbell at Colorado State University will show us how they studied the distribution of native plains fish throughout the summer and the changes they observed.

You’ll be able to see the presenters and their photographs and discoveries on your smart phone, laptop or tablet via Zoom(an easy & safe video app). In May, we’ll send you the URL link that you need to copy into your electronic device to start the program. If you have not already joined in a Zoom meeting, know that it’s easy, and, if you’d like, we’ll help you make sure that everything works for you before the presentations begin.
