CANCELLED - East Lake Nature Preserve

Join Denver Audubon for a look at early spring ducks in Thornton at East Lake Nature Preserve. The birds will be in their breeding plumage, and we may see courtship behavior. We should also see coots and gulls on the lakes, and songbirds and possible raptors in the surrounding trees. We will be using a scope for up-close looks, so please bring yours if you have one. If you have a field guide, you might want to become familiar with female ducks so that you can match up the pairs when you see them.

Meeting Place: Eastlake #3 Park & Nature Preserve, 128th and Fillmore Ct. on the north side of 128th. Parking in the lot is limited.
