WHERE TO GO BIRDING IN COLORADO

We recommend checking out the following resources for information about birding in Colorado:


  • Colorado Birding Trail provides information on hotspots around the state and a search feature for specific species
  • eBird has a wealth of resources to find locations for birding, as well as bar charts for species and lists of recent sightings

  • Do you accept book donations?

    We can currently only accept the following books: 


    • Current Colorado/Denver field guides in good condition.
  • Do you accept optics donations?

    If you have binoculars or a scope that you're no longer using that are in good working condition, we may be able to accept a donation for use in our programs. Please contact info@denveraudubon.org.  

  • Can you recommend a birding guide?

    We recommend reaching out to Reefs to Rockies or Birding Man Adventures 

    for local and regional guided birding.
