Bird Banding Tour Guide
Share your love of nature & birds by supporting our bird banding programs! Volunteers lead a 10-15 minute nature walk as they guide groups from the Nature Center to the banding station. Volunteers stay with the group for the ornithologist presentation.
Volunteer Dates & Times: Tuesday – Friday, 6:45-8:30am. Saturdays & Sundays, 7 – 11am. April 24 – May 31, 2025.
Time Commitment: Volunteer a minimum of three times during the season (listed above). Attend a training session Saturday, April 12, 8-10am at Kingery Nature Center.

School Field Trip Volunteer for Bird Banding
Do you have a love for nature that you want to share with others? Do you want hands-on experience in environmental education? If you do, we have a great volunteer opportunity for you!
Volunteers independently teach groups of 10-15 students at different stations with activities related to nests, ponds, or nature walks. Curriculum and training is provided. Previous experience with youth is required.
Location: Denver Audubon Kingery Nature Center, 11280 Waterton Rd. Littleton, CO 80125.
Volunteer Dates & Times: Tuesday – Friday, April 24 – May 23, 2025. 8am-1:30pm
Time Commitment: Teach a minimum of four programs during the season (listed above). Attend a mandatory in-person training session on EITHER April 8 or April 9 from 8:30am-12pm and shadow one program in the week of April 24 – May 1 prior to teaching.
