Come explore Lair o' the Bear Park, which has a diverse habitat that attracts a nice variety of birds. We'll look for White-breasted Nuthatch, Western Wood-Pewee, Steller's Jay, warblers, raptors, and many other species. All birding levels are welcome, and we strongly encourage beginners to join us. This trip is geared for adults and teens. For the safety of all, masks are required for the leader and all participants for the entire trip (no bandanas).
We'll meet at 8 a.m. in the Lair o' the Bear Park Trailhead parking lot. 22550 State Highway 74. Idledale, CO. From C470 take Bear Creek Road / Hwy 74 west past Morrison. Watch for the park signs west of Idledale.
