Event Details
We expect to see ring-billed gulls, various duck species including Canada and cackling geese, mallards, gadwalls, northern shovelers, buffleheads, common goldeneyes, redheads, green-winged teals, as well as coots, American robins, American crows, black-capped chickadees, house finches, and European starlings. We could see downy woodpeckers, nuthatches, dark-eyed juncos, and cedar waxwings. We will probably walk from 1 to 2 miles on mostly level ground, but may climb some stairs and could encounter ice and snow. Bring water, snacks, binoculars, scopes if you want, field guides, wear a hat and dress for the weather.
