Do you love birding and hiking in Colorado? With increased outdoor activity due to the pandemic, many trails are experiencing more wear and tear than usual. Mary Ann Bonnell, Visitor Services Manager for Jefferson County Open Space, will discuss the challenges and opportunities associated with managing the visitor experience in a front country, pandemic setting. As part of her work, Mary Ann supports a team that protects park resources in the face of an estimated 7 million annual visitors to 46,000 acres of open space. 

 

This event includes a short Conservation Committee public meeting.
