  Did you know that fall is the perfect time to plant perennials and shrubs for birds? In this two-part workshop, we will review native plant choices for landscapes to help provide natural food sources for birds throughout the year. Learn about the relationships that some Colorado bird species have with certain species of Colorado native plants as well as some of the science behind WHY these native plants are critical for supporting both year-round and migratory species. Attend one or both workshops!  Part One will specifically explore native perennials and grasses for seed production, as well as shrubs and small trees for berries.  Instructor: Kate Hogan, Community Outreach Coordinator and Manager of the Audubon Center and Native Plant Gardens
