Event Details

Did you know that fall is the perfect time to plant perennials for birds? During this second native plants workshop, we will specifically explore host plants for native butterflies and moths, and native plants that provide nectar for pollinators. Learn about the relationships that some Colorado bird species have with certain species of Colorado native plants and about some of the science behind WHY these native plants are critical for supporting both year-round and migratory species. Attend one or both workshops! Instructor: Kate Hogan, Community Outreach Coordinator and Manager of the Audubon Center and Native Plant Gardens
