On Tuesday May 19, we launched our new website. Why did we undertake this project? Many reasons, including: Review some of the highlights below. The main menu is organized according to our mission statement: education, conservation, and research. We have a new blog area, and we have an upper menu where people can easily subscribe to our newsletter, visit our events calendar, become a member, or donate. In our next phase, we will add a menu option that will include more resources, such as birding in Denver, photography, and more. If you don’t see all the pages you were expecting, take heart, we’re not done. We will release content in another phase that will (at least) include the following pages: Audubon Master Birders, Naturalist Training, Colorado Bluebird Project, and Community Science. Find features and articles in our blog like conservation reports, backyard birds, and more. Search by category (we will likely change and add to these with time). Let us know if you have a blog idea or if you want to write one. Don’t forget to give us the LOVE so we know you’re reading! We will always update you on our homepage in the Special Events section. Here, we’ll post “save-the-date” messages and provide links to detailed pages that we create for our larger events such as Birdathon, HOOTenanny, and our upcoming Spring Benefit. We love our new events calendar, which you can access in the top menu from anywhere on the site. Use the month jumper to find events in specific months. You can also sort events by category. Right now we have few events, which makes us sad, but we hope to be back to normal soon. You don’t have to go to the calendar if you don’t want to sort through every event. The Adult Adventures, Youth and Family Events, and Bird Banding pages feature the next three upcoming events for specific categories. On each page you can click on events to find out more and to register. In the footer, you’ll find address and contact information for both the office and nature center. However, now the footer allows members to directly login to Neon, volunteers to directly login to Volgistics, and field trip leaders to submit their new trips (which we hope will resume soon!).Denver Audubon's Website Gets Extreme Makeover
