Audubon Community Naturalist Training - 9 Day Course

The Denver Audubon Community Naturalist Training is a one-of-a-kind adult training program highlighting the plants, animals, and ecosystems of the Colorado Front Range. Classes for the 2022 summer season will be held at the Audubon Nature Center at Chatfield and a variety of offsite field trip locations.  Topics of study include botany, ecology, mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, insects, and conservation in Colorado.

Classes will take place Monday August 22 – Friday August 26 and Monday Aug 29 – Thursday September 1 from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm each day, with the exception of our ecology field trips on Tuesday August 30 and Wednesday August 31 which will be 7 am start time and ending at 3 pm.  100% attendance is required in order to graduate from the program – makeup classes are NOT possible.
