Event Details
Prospect Park features a variety of habitats including open water, riparian, wetland, and cottonwood forest. All trails are flat and accessible. We will cover about 2-3 miles on paved or hard-packed gravel trails, with a short boardwalk section in the wetlands portion of Prospect Park. We will meet at the Youngfield Entrance in the parking lot. There will be restroom access at the beginning of the trip. Plan to dress for the weather and bring binoculars, water, sunscreen, and a snack. I will plan to bring my scope to share with the group. Beginners are encouraged to join and all levels are welcome!
