wed19jun8:30 amwed11:30 amPROGRAM FULL - Bird and Nature Outing in Castlewood Canyon State ParkEnjoy a beautiful 3-hour bird and nature outing in Castlewood Canyon State Park.

Event Details

This outing is handicap accessible including accessible parking and accessible flush toilet stalls. The trail is concrete paved and follows an easy course along the Canyon View Nature Trail with several overlooks of the canyon and benches for a break. It's important that we stay on the trail. It is .7 miles with accessible bathrooms at the end of the trail and then courses another 0.7 miles back to the parking lot to complete the loop. For those interested, a final visitor center stop will be offered. We hope to see a good number of birds due to a variety of habitats in the park. Possibilities include different varieties of; hummingbirds, swallows, raptors, bluebirds, chickadees, nuthatches, wrens, and various other songbirds.
