Event Details
We will meet at the Youngfield Entrance to the Wheat Ridge Greenbelt. Following the paved path along Clear Creek we will have opportunities to view waterfowl in the creek and in the small lakes at the park. Winter birding is fantastic here and a variety of species can be found such as Green-winged Teal, Belted Kingfisher, Gadwall, Great Blue Heron, and many more. The path is flat, mostly paved, with some portions on a boardwalk and hard packed gravel. We will travel approximately 2.5 miles during our 3 hour outing at the park.
