Event Details
We will meet at the Youngfield Entrance to the Wheat Ridge Greenbelt and walk along the Clear Creek path, viewing waterfowl in the creek and also in the adjacent lakes. This time of year we can expect to see Hooded Mergansers, Northern Shovelers, Belted Kingfishers, and many other birds that enjoy the variety of habitats found at Prospect Park. The trail will consist of paved bike path, packed gravel, and a boardwalk. We will travel approximately 2 miles on level ground.
