This walk is ideal for all ages. Since the trails can be icy, sturdy, warm boots are recommended. The loop we'll walk is mostly level, and the trail is gravel.

This walk is ideal for all ages. Since the trails can be icy, sturdy, warm boots are recommended. The loop we'll walk is mostly level, and the trail is gravel. Expect to see a variety of ducks on Grasmere Lake. We’ll discuss how our winter residents survive the cold and wet. Bring along a water bottle and dress is layers.
Meeting Place: Denver South High School parking lot, corner of Franklin and Louisiana. We'll meet by the intersection light at Franklin.

Please Note: If you have registered and no longer can attend the walk, please contact the Denver Audubon Office (Rhonda Shank 303-973-9530) as soon as possible. There is a waiting list for those wanting to join the walk.

Advance registration, including signing of the liability waiver is required. Walk-up or impromptu participants will not be allowed.

You are responsible for bringing your own binoculars, water, snacks and sunscreen for optimum experience
