Join us for a spring walk through the unique habitats of the beautiful Fountain Valley Trail and Roxborough’s stunning red rocks. We will look and listen for the many Roxborough spring migrants, as well as year-round residents. We could see swifts, swallows, flycatchers, bluebirds, jays, wrens, vireos, warblers, and hummingbirds, as well as, sparrows, goldfinches, and raptors, including a Golden Eagle or Prairie Falcon. This trip is for all levels of birders, and beginners are especially welcome.
We will cover 2.4 miles with a small change in elevation.
Meeting Location: Roxborough State Park Visitor’s Center. State Parks Pass, or day pass (fee) required.

Advance registration, including signing of the liability waiver, is required. Walk-up or impromptu participants will not be allowed.

You are responsible for bringing your own binoculars, water, snacks and sunscreen for optimum experience.

This trip is NOT accessible for those with mobility issues.
COVID Guidelines: We will follow the current guidelines for the county where the program takes place.
