Event Details

Join us on a 3 hour birding field trip to Reynolds Park in Conifer. We will be exploring Conifer’s foothills and montane ecosystems in search of year-round resident mountain birds as well as recently migrated species. The two areas of the park we will be exploring are very different in moisture levels, shade, and plant life which lends to a higher diversity of native bird and plant species. Trail conditions include flat, sloping, smooth and rocky terrain. The southern facing site conditions can include exposure to sun and elements, while the north facing side is shaded and cooler. The group will move at a leisurely self-pace, covering between 1.5-2.5 miles. There are pit toilets onsite.
