Conservation in Colorado - Renewable Energy

Join us for a panel presentation on Renewable Energy in Colorado. Preston E. Gibson, Area Manager, Community and Local Government Affairs with Xcel will share the company Carbon Vision Plan. Suzy Hiskey, Conservation Coordinator, will share Audubon’s position on renewables and touch on research concerning renewable energy source impacts on birds. Courtney Kiel, Protected Species Observer, will share how her role addresses environmental concerns and mitigation in the renewable energy field. We are meeting at Breckenridge Brewery in the Tasting Room for beers, a bit of education, and inspiration to take action for birds, other wildlife, and their habitats.
